Patrice J. Williams is a design strategist providing consulting, facilitation, and coaching services that incorporate design thinking and strategic planning for the human experience. With an MBA from Marylhurst University and more than a decade of experience as an entrepreneur, Patrice is an expert in leveraging entrepreneurial skills and qualities in corporate, government, and academic settings.

 

As an integral member of the UNCF-Career Pathways Initiative team at Spelman College, Patrice has served as faculty lecturer at her alma mater teaching college-aged students design thinking and strategic planning and guiding faculty and staff through integrating strategic design modalities for curriculum efficacy and student engagement. Her course, Designing Your Life, merges design thinking, strengths activation, and emotional intelligence to prepare undergraduate students for both the ever-changing workforce and the life they desire. Opening her classroom experience to students of all ages, Patrice is the founder and facilitator at theSOUL.Academy, an online self-discovery school. Outside of the classroom, Patrice partners with individuals, corporations, and academic leaders to design solutions-based initiatives and processes aimed at reintegrating the human into the experience.

Patrice is a master at building the bridge between personal and professional experiences through leveraging her training and innate abilities to help others remove the barriers to life and career fulfillment. Her work speaks to the heart of diversity, equity, and inclusion by empowering individuals to align with their most authentic version of themselves and, as a result, design their lives to first identify and then achieve their version of success. She works diligently to create spaces for people to witness themselves through the lens of personal authority over their lives, regardless of their professional position, and provide the tools to create the experience they envision. This leads to the emergence of an energized and engaged workforce with the skills to make courageous decisions to create the optimal path forward.

Patrice's solutions merge design thinking, strategic planning, and project management to empower people to manage themselves as the most important project in their life.  The ultimate project is and has always been the people - their lives, their education, their careers, and, ultimately, their impact.
